Behavioral Awareness
Center Inc. (BAC) is a
privately owned facility that provides counseling, education and treatment
programs which will facilitate and change clients to a positive lifestyle
in substance abuse recovery. We treat anyone who is eighteen years
or older, regardless of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation and has a
need for counseling or has a documented history of alcohol or substance
abuse.
Our Services
Medical:
-On
staff physician who is certified and specializes in addiction treatment.
-Retired
Physician Assistant with Fourteen years experience in substance
abuse treatment.
-Three
Registered Nurses (RN), Four Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
who administer medication and perform
the duties of a Behavioral Health
Technician. (BHT)
-Behavioral
Health Technician (BHT)
Counseling:
-Individual
counseling is offered each week for up to 45 minute sessions with
No appointment needed for relapse
prevention, behavioral health issues and/or
crisis situations.
-Appointments
are offered for weekly sessions for individuals, family or couples.
-Group
sessions are held when applicable.
-Special
emphasis is placed on involving family members.
Medication:
-Administer
the below medications as prescribed by the physician.
a. Liquid Methadone
b. 10mg Methadone tablets
c. 40mg Methadone Diskets
d. Suboxone
Screening: To do mental and social health
assessments to determine if
the Client is eligible for entry into our maintenance facility
Urinalysis: An
initial and Eight Random Urinalysis tests are collected annually to
Monitor the abstinence of illicit drugs or abuse.
Special Needs: We assist and refer
clients in need to appropriate programs for the disabled and or their
special situations. This would include referrals to other agencies for
continuity of care.

BAC sees its mission as offering professional, quality, low cost
behavioral services consisting of counseling and treatment that
holistically address the physical, mental, and spiritual healing of
individuals and their families. We offer these services to individuals
and their families and friends who reside in Tucson, Benson, Safford,
Sierra Vista, and other surrounding communities in Arizona. BAC seeks
to provide our clients with mental health, substance abuse treatment,
and supportive services needed to rebuild family harmony and enable
them to regain useful employment in their communities.

BAC Staff
Qualifications: Our Physician is Certified in Addiction
Medicine and a licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Arizona. Our Registered Nurses and
Licensed Practical Nurses are licensed in the State of Arizona and also
perform the duties as
Behavioral Health Technicians. All
our staff has experience in substance abuse treatment or are directly
supervised by other staff members who are. BAC Staff constantly receive on-going training to keep up
to date with current client needs in substance abuse treatment. All non-medical Behavioral
Health Technicians are closely supervised and receive continuous
training to gain experience needed for
counseling our clients.

Non BAC Physical Exams: $100.00
B.
Weekly Charges for Liquid Methadone, Tablets, or Diskets 150mg or less: *$75.00

Tablets, or Diskets 151mg-250mg: $80.00
Weekly Charges for Liquid Methadone,

Daily Dosing Fees: $15.00
Replacement Doses for lost, stolen,

Medication Costs per MG: $2.50 (Example:
5mg x 2.50 = $12.50)
Courtesy Dose per day (Plus
Medication Costs): $35.00

Clients may see Physician for non BAC related illnesses but will pay in advance
a fee of: $95.00
