As a medically Assisted Treatment facility, it is critical that our doors remain open to our most vulnerable populations during this health pandemic.
To ensure we can continue providing the highest quality health care and continue to dispense Methadone we are taking proactive steps to safeguard the health and well-being of our staff and the patients we serve. We have been working diligently with SAMSHA and following all the recommended guidelines to stay in compliance along with following all to CDC recommendations.

Specific examples of the precautions Behavioral Awareness Center have put in place are as follows:
  • All staff members have received infection prevention and control training and are meticulously monitored to ensure compliance.
  • Thorough disinfection and hygiene guidance have been provided and is being monitored.
  • We have increased our level of sanitation by informing our industrial cleaning service to not only do a deep clean which was completed but to be extra diligent with all cleaning.
  • We have restricted internal access to only essential staff and Client traffic into the back office’s is being kept at a minimum.
  • There is a strict screening and triage process in place for all new admits.
  • We are asking Clients to not bring any extra people with them when they come to dose, and we have suspended all groups for thirty days and are offering an on-line relapse prevention group.
  • We are educating our patients so they will practice good hygiene and social distancing when they do have to go into the community.
With the COVID-19 situation evolving quickly, we will continue to monitor updates from the CDC and Pima County Health Department. The safety of our patients, their families, and our employees is our top priority, and we will remain steadfast in our efforts to reduce any risk associated with COVID-19. Good afternoon. 1810 here. Just checking up on procedures for pick-ups. I'm in the "Oh, you're gonna die!" segment due to COPD and neuropathy, so I'm really worried about having to come there for pick-up.

Just a note to thank you, Mr. Croyden, for your help.

Also, great good luck to you. Stay as low as possible!
